Go to this website and scroll down to "New Glock 18c running 32 round mags" Right click on the title and click save as. Save it to your desktop and run it in media player, winamp etc. Its pretty interesting to watch. The shooter seems to be able to keep good control of it too.

It is a "C" (compensated) version though. So im sure that probably makes it a little more controlabe than its non-compensated cousin (if they make one, i dont know that much about glocks).

I have fired a glock 18 before... put around 200 rounds through one. It was fun but i dont see the practicallity in it. It goes through the ammo so damn fast you cant really tell how many rounds you still have in the mag. Not to mention it wasnt so accurate on full auto... it tended to spray like an old man pissing into the wind after a half a mag or so went through it on full auto... the slide got kinda hot as well. I'll stick with my double stack 1911 in 45....

ok i know this sounds kind of immature but if you play Socom 2 for playstion online you can use the model 18 as a terrorist. strong gun but highly uncontrollable. the problem is you can use the DE as a terrorist but not as a SEAL. thats the problem the terrorists get all the good guns. Only good handgun yo can get as a SEAL is the HK Mk 23 and the SP 10.

LOL that is my immature momment for the day.

I dont really play any playstation games... but i can assure you the H&K MK-23 is a much better combat pistol than the Desert Eagle... (proffesional prefference)

Somewhat related:

The Russian Avatomat Pistolet Stetchkin (APS) and OTs-33 selective-fire combat handguns are like night and day. The APS isn't very controllable and the OTs-33 is, nor is the APS as accurate as the OTs-33.

The Glock-18, and Glock-18C, with their more precise machining, might be better automatic handguns, with regards to controllability and accuracy.

I shot a glock 18 about two weeks back, contollable not at all, fun - HELL YES! I shot it for the tv show that my company does and it was a blast. I hear that the 18c is controllable but I shot the unported and would not know! If you ever get the chance buy all the ammo you can, cause that is the most fun you will EVER have out of a handgun. A mp5ksd is so much better though! sniperdog

wouldn't a full auto glock 18 burst be as effective as a mini uzi? only you could use it as a side arm and leave no doubt that the enemy threat would be shot dead in a CQC situation? i.e. inside a building/ room clearing. you guys make it sound like the weapon would be completely useless in any situation.

Never fired a full auto anything lol...but I bet if you are not on target with the first shot, the rest won't be either...probably have to be very careful of your trigger pull not to waste any ammo with long burst, probably won't be able to line up the next target so fast. Those are just could be's and I'm not trying to put it down, since I don't know what its like to use...I don't understand well enough if it has any advantage to a semi auto pistol that I am familiar with.

I don't think its totally useless but fully automatic pistols have historically never really worked or been popular, back to the days of the Mauser Schnellfeuer (sp?)

It can be had so long as you pay the 200 dollar tax stamp, the background check, etc.
