I was wondering what type of coating companies are using out there
for ex: tac ops,on their stocks for grip coating. From the pics, it looks like
an undercoating of some sort on the lima model. Is there a place I can purchase this stuff?Opinions anyone? This is for my sc1a5 when it arrives.
Thanks Guys,
Mike

Is it resin epoxy and hardener (like the stuff Brownells sells) that is used for bedding? If not... what "exactly" is the stuff Tac-Ops uses to do this?

I do not believe they will apply it to a third party rifle, but it never hurts to ask.

They apply the epoxy with a spong, but I am not sure if its striaght epoxy, some sort of special blend, whether its dyed (probably) or what. But I do like it!
