Ok, thismorning i got a catalog called "Sportman's Guide. Normally I think they are full of garbage and only toilet reading. However, while flipping threw on the jon i found this scope, (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=148188).
Its 30mm tube, shock water and fog proof Mildot, 6-24x. All for 199 with rings. Now i expect the rings to be garbage and i will get new ones but does this deal sound too good to be true to anyone?

With scopes you get what you pay for.

I would bet the glass is crap. Who knows though. I would try to find a store that has them just to go check it out but when a good set of rings can cost close to that I would be concerned. Worth a second look for someone on a real tight budget.

errrrr... yeah, I'm not so sure. While it might be worth looking at, I would not want to spend $200 to eval it. Generally in life (and especially with scopes), if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
