Looks neat, I'm thinking about it but I wanted to post it up here so everyone had a chance.Up for sale is my Savage Model 10FP-LE28 tactical rifle with a ton of custom modifications. All modifications were performed by Bob White (World Class Bench Rest competitor and gunsmith) and include a McMillian Tactical Stock, glassbed receiver, stainless steel match grade Hart barel (1-10" twist, chambered in .308) with a custom muzzlebrake. Custom single shot conversion with filled stock and magazine well. Barrel fitted to receiver which eliminates the barrel lug and barrel and bolt true to receiver. Will include loophole 1" scope mount. This is a competition grade rifle (1/4" MOA) at a fantastic price (over $2200 invested!) Local NJ sale prefered but will ship (see terms) - all required documents must be provided.
I am thinking of selling my L39A1. It is in great shape and is very accurate and is also a real one and not a cut down No4. Work is going slow and I may have to cut down on my Enfield collection. The L39A1 is the military target version of the L42A1 sniper rifle. I am told there are about 1200 L39's out there. They can be had for a good price in England where most of them reside (700-900 pounds). It has all the correct markings and is dated 1972. The rifle has the .308 caliber magazine which holds 10 rds and enables rapid fire shooting. Here ia a link to some pics. The rifle has no import marks and the bore is in great shape. Sell for $1650
