Ah, I forgot to mention the troops, Jeff...Thanks for putting that in there...May the new year bring swift victories and be a mean, nasty year for the bad guys...Get home safe and we miss you!

I suffer when I reawaken.
I have an English keyboard, so I get to enable the cryllic encoding and then randomly hit keys until I get the letter I'm looking for. Since I'm a lazy ****, I don't do it often.
"Novoi God!" means "New Year." God in Russian is more like "Bog."
There is duct-tape on my hand I cannot take off because it's ontop of a scar from a knife wound I picked up while cutting through a turkey. If I take off the duct-tape I take off the scab and I don't have any alchohol to dull the pain (Although it doesn't hurt, I want another excuse to drink myself into oblivion), and then it has to re-heal, too much work. I sold all of my heroin - No! I want my pupils as dialated as my mother was when she gave birth to me - to finance the alchohol.
It was a good three days sans sleep.

How did everyone else celebrate?
Things here were cool, had family, way too much food, everyone in the neighborhood rang in the new year with a few rifle shots (I LOVE living here) and then off to party. Today is a day of recuperation...Thankfully no yakking in the big white porcelain telephone...
Ugh...time to stop making this place sound like "Wino Central" now...

I am so glad that politicians do not visit these forums. Why? Because we all sound like winos, and it's a forum dedicated to the artform of precision shooting.
Politicians may not be the most intelligent people on Earth, but I'm sure they can figure out that a wino + rifle with high degree of accuracy is a bad mix.

Oh hell, this whole thread is a bad idea lol...
I'm sober again! It's a miracle!
It was a bad idea, like handloading a .22 cartridge, like playing "tag" with a police officer, like kicking that same police officer in the balls and shouting "You're it!" It was all a bad idea.
Now when I go to sleep, I can wake up and hope it was all a dream. It probably won't happen, all the bad **** that happens to me is always real, never a dream.
Regarding the troops:
- I hope they enjoy themselves but I also hope none of them pull the stunt I just did because then some bastard is going to give them a few new holes roughly 7.62x39 in size. I may not support Georgie, I may not support the war in Iraq, but I don't like seeing servicemen (Or -women) killed.

Bad idea? Yeah...but it got me some laughs at the very least...Well done on sobering up...Last time I went on a good one...well, cold sweats and the shakes are nature's way of saying "slow down, rummy!" So...A very well behaved new years from me. Kept my thoughts of people to myself, for the most part, and came home with money left in my pocket.
As for the troops...Well, they have their job to do, and they do it. Regardless of feelings we may have for whoever the commander in chief is at any time, the soldiers are joining and fighting for us and to keep home safe and sound.
