(Sorry about posting slightly off-topic, but there's no better category)

I'm finally back with some free-time after finishing school courses, a heavy excercise schedule, and I'm now looking for a job(Again). Also switched Internet provider, which accounts for about a month of downtime.

Now I'll just have to catch up on the forum and some promises I made(Sorry Mel, been too busy to give you a comprehensive ballistic table with all shots fired in the same conditions).

Got some personal anecdotes from some live ops as well as excercises I might relate too, if you are nice

Heh, thanks guys

About the job market, that's a bit harder... The competition is fierce, and there are few jobs in the areas which I have some serious skills in(Programming, architectural visualization, 3D special effects(specialized in lighting and particle simulation), system administration etc)

And I don't want to spend more time in school right now. It's fun, but gets tedious and mind-numbing pretty quickly.

im a sophomore now and made the mistake of takin summer courses... hate them heh wont help me get my degree any sooner

about work.. im sure you will find something but i know how hard it is lookin for a job

You're good with a rifle. And from the sounds of it, you've done previous military work, so you could always hit up some PMCs. Especially the American ones, as they are probably hiring at this point of time like mad. Although PMCs focus more on providing defenses, compared to offenses, where a sniper is essentiallly the most used.

OK, I'm back again(at least part -time, I'm still on meds, and very sleepy).

Had a S&R of a missing person go awry. Me and my spotter were walking over bog ground, when suddenly the dry patch I was stepping on collapsed. My foot sank into the bog, and wham, the vibrations triggered an explosion of a hand grenade or something that had been there since the 1940's sometime. My leg's in a cast, and I've been on painkillers(not fun, I'd have preferred to go without except I couldn't sleep or relax without them) and medication a lot.
