Interesting.

Not much for long range, but I bet its a pleasant to shoot varmint round, and with a group like that, its OBVIOUSLY accurate!

I really like the 85 grain Sierra 6.5mm hollowpoint.

I use this bullet for my 6.5x55mm+p load.

85 grain Sierra bullet
49 grains of IMR-4064
Remington brass, Winchester large rifle primer
Muzzle velocity: 3500fps.
Accuracy: better than .5MOA.

Note: THIS LOAD IS FOR MODERN RIFLES ONLY. NOT FOR USE IN THE SWEDISH MAUSER. ( FOR USE IN SAKO, REMINGTON, WINCHESTER, RUGER, STEYR ETC.)

Mad.

What are some of the good factory 6.5x55 loads out there? I was looking at Lapua's site and they have two great long range loads with the 139 scenar and 123. Both of the silver loads perform on par with federal 300 Win mag 190gr match ammo at 1000meters.
