My dad has a mauser 98 in .308 that has been customized somewhat. It's glass bedded in a sporterized stock and it has a Jaeger trigger. I like the trigger and tried to find some info on them but all I found was some rifles for sale that had them installed or Jaeger type triggers for black powder rifles.
Anyway, does anyone know anything about these triggers?

Jaeger triggers get their name from the old german muzzleoader manufacturer. Its not so much a company as it is a style of trigger.

I cant tell you much, other than ive shot the same kind of mauser, and someone told me it was a jaeger trigger... id really much prefer a timmeny over it.
