I've long wondered if Leupold scopes had some way to keep track of how many times you went all the way around. I had heard that some did, but never having seen it for myself, I wasn't sure, and instead looked at the M3 type.

When looking at this: http://www.gad.net/Shooting/LevelHead/PSS/MarkIV.html (second picture down) I saw marks that I assumed were to help you keep track of your revolutions. Scope is Leupold M1 16x. This may be a stupid question, but a clarification would be appreciated.

Thanks

In the pictures on that page, you will see the horizontal lines on the 0 mark. These are to keep track of revolutions up (or down). As you rotate the turret, they actually do raise and lower, exposing, or hiding, a new horizontal line every time you rotate around.
