Anyone have any experiance with this gun.....1911with a polymer frame and starts about $610.00.????

Probably not too bad but i'd stick with a steel lower.

I just recently got one of these, havent had a chance to shoot it yet but i'm looking forward to it. Does anyone have any info on it, or any advise on any modifications I can make to it? This is my first handgun, and I can use all the help I can get.

Both of you have an excellent pistol. You will be pleasantly suprised at the incredible out-of-the-box accuracy of the gun. As far as modifications, HD rifles does a coating job although I have no experience with that kind of mod. Also I would recommend visiting Kimber's website, they have a complete list of their custom shop options.

You said it, I took mine out this weekend and could not believe how accurate it was. This thing will walk all over my dad's 1911 anyday. I was blown away by how accurate this thing is. And I thought the reduced weight would make it kick a lot more, but it didnt bother me at all. Mine is the Pro Carry Ten II. If anyone else has any more info let me know.
