Gun Trigger Vehicle Machine Shooting

My new 6.5 Grendel build - a 28" Satern/Liberty Overwatch Upper (15" Luth-AR HG, Type II Bolt w/ Carrier, RLGS, with a Chineseium (knockoff Atlas) Bipod out front - I pulled off the MilSpec CH and slapped an Ambi in its place) on top of a home-brew fraken receiver (Sota Arms Billet Lower, LaRue MBT-2S Trigger, LaRue Grip, Luth-AR MBS-1 Stock with CTK Eng Rail/Mono-Pod, Armaspec SRS-H3 Stealth Recoil Spring, Extended Mag Release and Takedown Pins, and ... wait for it ... an AccuWedge (which works surprisingly well for a simple piece of molded rubber).

The glass is a hunting optic - Sig's Sierra3BDX 6.5-20x52 (paired with a Kilo1400BDX LRF) - a replacement optic will be the first material upgrade I do after I get my reloading tools/consumables and get my shop set up (a winter/spring effort, if I get back home in time (been TDY to Middle TN since last July)), once my pocketbook cools off... ;)

Blew the first 150 rounds through it last weekend and am getting MOA accuracy (I know, nutin to write home about ... the gun is outshooting me at this time, as I just got back into the scene since separating from the military in '92 - 'tis been many a year and am really glad that I am FINALLY getting back into the swing of sending rounds downrange).

Anyways, I wanted to show off the neu boi toi a bit and, more importantly, to wish y'all a wicked good 2020! Take care, keeping the noggin down and the powder dry.

Rock River Arms, Entry Tactical with Larue Tactical forend. That's a cheap simmons scope on top. There's not much of a cheek weld with the scope mounted that high. I've gotta take that riser off and get a BUIS. I'm looking to get one of those Millet Designated Marksman scopes too.
I love my Rock River Arms LAR-15 Elite Operator. RRA makes excellent products. The accuracy of mine is remarkable. I even found a managed to find a left handed model, which, though I'm right handed, I've been shooting left handed rifles since my time getting government checks.
To give you the facts, I shot best in my basic training group with my first shot, but my follow up shots were always off a smidge. My training sergeant pulled me off the line and told me to wait. He appeared with another M-16, handed it to me and told me to get back on the line and shoot. I drove tacks, no sweat. And I did that all day long. In fact, I shot better than the instructors. The change that made me better? A left-hand M-16. It seems that the shell ejecting was catching my eye and making me miss. So, with the new left-hand rifle I beat my entire class, which really isn't a surprise, I've had my own rifles since I was 10 and my second rifle was a .30-06 that I took deer with to help feed hungry folks in my Cherokee Grandfather's hometown. A plant closed and people needed help. So, we helped them since we could.
I even updated my old ,30-06 with a new stock and I'm saving for a new scope.
Anyway, have a good one. Be safe, well, and happy.
