Leupold Gen 2 mil-dot

Is there much of an advantage/gain using the new Gen 2 mil-dot? I noticed premier reticles is selling these. I'm about to buy a Leupold Mark 4 and was wanting some input on whether to buy with the new Gen 2.

Well, yes, there is some added advantage in the addional flexibility it provides for measuring targets. The real big advantage I like is the tick mark at the half MIL mark. The larger marks at 5 mil's in on the thick stadia is also a nice feature.
