Here's a question for everyone.

Completely out of the blue, Brother Kenny sent me an M16 telestock. This telestock was obviously very old. It was also of high quality manufacture. It locks solidly open and is rattle free.

It is an old-style fiberite stock, but it is a two-position stock. I'n puzzled because I thought that all fiberite stocks were four position models.

Brother Kenny is unsure exactly what kind of stock this is. The stock was destined for disposal because it is a two position model. Had it been a four position stock, it would have been re-used.

One of Brother Kenny's co-workers thinks that this is a very early mid-1960s telestock for the XM-177.

Does anyone here know? Has anyone ever seen a two-position GI issue fiberite telestock?

Thank you.
