The magpul stock does have some adjust-ability in the form of inserts for LOP as well as 3 different comb pieces that are very easy to swap out. I went with the high one and 3 shims in LOP.

Sorry guys color me spoiled, For me, not having to deal with shims and spacers is worth a few bucks more.... You're at the range and you want to adjust the elevation of the cheek rest, I turn one knob and I go up or down however much or little I want, same with adjusting LOP a slight twist and you go up or down. I had 3 cheek inserts on my savage 10 and I don't remember how many spacers for the LOP. I had to two screws for the cheek and 2 for LOP if I recall correctly. Those are ways to get you there, but once I got a chassis and I'm able to fine tune the adjustments to me quickly and on the fly, don't know that anything else makes sense. True you only have to do it once, but I feel the micro adjustments allow me to better fit the rifle to me. Just my .02
