hello all,
just started to form cases for the new 22-303 last night, I can't wait rifle is onroute form the shop and be here soon. So I started to form some cases by necking down 303 brit cases, first to 7mm than 6mm and the next step is 22-303 when the rifle gets here. Question is there an easy way to measure the camber lenght to find out what the maxium lenght the case can be for proper trim lenght for camber?
Thanks Cliffy

The guy reaming the chamber should know and let you know. If not have a gunsmith cast your chamber, ie pour lead in it and get the dimentions from that. Tere may be otherway I don't know about. Mad and input here?

Order some Cerrosafe compound from Brownells. I've never used it myself, but with this stuff it is easy to make an exact chamber cast.

If you phone the good folks at Brownells, they will even tell you how to use Cerrosafe properly.

Once you have a proper chamber caste, you can simply measure your chamber.
