its not a birthday present but i did get it discounted :)
the supressor isnt mine but i can use it when im at the owner (my uncle's) house and he is storing the gun and its currently registered uner him till im 21 then i can legally take it home
supressor is fairly old and just muffles the sound a bit doesnt really make it completely scilent so you hear more than a click... just a muffled bang
accuracy is great, sub 2" 10 and 12 shot groups with crappy ammo, good premium ammo halves those groups @ 25y prone easily
magazine catch is near the trigger which i personally like
trigger is better than any other triggers ive had on pistols but its not a rifle trigger like im used to
dispite its collossus size its only heavy with the supressor on
its very controllable

yea there not cheap
a good alternative is the USP Tactical though
it shoots about as good and about 3/4" shorter i think
half the price and takes the same mags
accuracy out the USP Tactical is great but probably not as good as the Mk23 or atleast the sight radius being longer on the Mk23 helps you shoot more accurately

if i had to pay full price you might have seen a USP Tactical in that picutre instead of a Mk23
but now that i have it im not giving it up

The FiveSeven is not a police only weapon. There are currently 4 types of ammunition available for this system.

http://www.fnhusa.com/contents/tw_57x28system.htm

The only round that is legal for civilian use is the SS192.

Due to the nature of the other rounds they are not legal.

Most gun stores will either carry the fiveseven, or be able to order it for you, they cost around 8-900 bucks depending on where you go.

criminals wear body armor too
im sure you could reload your own AP rounds if ya tried
also high powered rifle rounds armor peircing ammo is legal
i think 9mm AP is legal which i hear out-preforms 5.7mm

I'll take the digital to the range with my buddy and see if they have a spare vest to plow through with the civilian rounds. Only downside to the Five-seven is the 20 dollar ammo.

Compared to 9mil at 4-6 bucks. Or .40 at 10-12.

I'm somewhat "glad" I can't get the 5-7 here. Ammo costs a fortune here. I probably pay 2-3 times more per .45ACP compared with you lot in the USA. Something new and fancy like the SS192...eeek!

Is that 20 bucks for a 50 round bocks? If so, that's nearly half of what I pay for a box of .45s...

Just thought I should scare you from moving here

Box of 50, that's a roge. 20 bucks is pretty steep for me, for tearing through paper with a handgun. Now that I handload rifles, I can afford to go match grade for all my shots. (Considering I got the equipment and dies free)

Who's Knights Armament Supressor is that? Does it say USA on it or US Gov? If it is a Knights Armament US Government MK-23 Mod 0 Supressor; It should be marked like this.. each line stacked up ontop of each other : line 1 (PART N0. 18002/94368) line 2 (MFR- 15002 SER. NO. XXXXXX) line 3 (NSN 1005-01-435-1917) line 4 (U.S. GOVT) *with an impression dent inbetween US and GOVT* ... line 5 (KNIGHT'S ARMAMENT CO.) line 6 (VERO BEACH, FL.) line 7 (MODEL: OHG CAL. .45ACP) .......... If it says USA in place of US GOVT then your fine.... if it says US GOVT i would either hide it away REALLY REALLY good... or go to the closest class 3 FFL dealer and ask them what to do with it. Or.... if your crazy... *like me*... just keep it either way.
