If you havn't seen the movie yet, you might not want to read this.

Normally I take movies that involve tactical teams with a grain of salt but this movie really bugged me.

1. Snipers with bolt action rifle who fire 2 rounds a second (no wonder they kept missing)

2. A 3 man breach team with a sheild thats stops just inside of the door. (wouldn't want to rush the person shooting at you or move for cover.....just stand there.... that will show them)

3. The use of flashbangs all the time....(except before the clearing of a room where they might help)

4. The fact that no one on this "special assault team" can hit the side of a barn. Even at point blank range. (must of been from numb hands)

5. The fact that because of one mans effort they were able to hold off a "skilled" assault team.......even if he was an ex marine.

There were a lot more things but those just stuck out. Normally I take hollywood movies for just that "being hollywood" but this one just bugged me.

Anyone else ever see a movie that was just so dumb it drove you nuts.

Even worse? Is that even possible, without turning it into a full-blown comedy?

Oh well, thanks for the heads-up. Now I know not to watch it... =)

Thats always really pisses me off,i realize its for entertainment and most people dont know the difference, but if your going to pay out millions of dollars for a movie,to me,there should be no reason to get it wrong.

Oh i know... it was really a classified rifle that only LOOKS like its bolt action but it is really semi auto to confuze the enemy... and the reason it was not very accurate is becuase it was an old rusty AK47 barrel with Wolf ammo... pretty high speed low drag stuff there.

3 man entry team on a full scale dynamic entry? That in its self is stupid... who is going to cover the 4th point of domination per team? Speaking of points of domination... maybe the director thought that he got papers from other films he is currently working on mixed in with this films paper and it was a porn term for his other select movies... "point of domination"...

Maybe they were exterminators trying to blind all the rodents in the building and ran out when they had to clear a room. :|

Maybe they were firing the new assassin ice bullets but there barrels were to long and the bullets melted before they got out of the barrel.

Oh but we all know that there is no such thing as an Ex-Marine (once a Marine always a Marine)... so he must have been fake... just another Rambo wanna be shootin sub 2 inch groups with his SVD at 1,000 yards in kentucky... then blaming the BS info on his little brother.

I know where you guys are coming form, and some movies make me feel the same way (SAWT) but to tell you the truth even though it was obviously fake I still enjoyed the movie. I go to the movies planning on having a good time not to learn assualt tactics.

Yeah,i understand that, but my point was more that with a budget that big there should be no reason they cant research it.

Yeah, but you must admit a properly executed tactical maneuver rarely has the flash a movie audience wants.

Look! A hostage situation... He pointed his gun away from the hostage and at a police officer... Oh, the sharpshooter got him...

Movie over.

Look a jungle movie about Snipers! It's called "Twenty Eight Hours of Motionless Ghillie" My favorite part is when the wind changes and the spotter recommends a readjustment. It is the only dialog in the movie!
Awesome!

Look! A liquor store hold up! The officer called for backup and waited!

It just doesn't have the Arnold Stallone Desert Eagle in one hand SPAS 12 in the other ring to it.

reminds me of Preadator (the first one) where the Governator had the M16/203 in one hand and shoots at the preadator.... funny stuff

My favorite part was when the big clump of foliage spent 6 hours crawling with it's fingertips.
