I disagree. Where you live isn't as important a factor in how many gus you have. It is personal preference. I too live in a high-crime area, but that has nothing to do with the amount of guns I have. Even if I lived out in a low crime area like somewhere in the nortwest, I would still have my own weapons cache. It really is personal preference. For example, me and my brother both like to shoot. My brother is perfectly happy with his two guns, a Walther P22 .22lr handgun and a Savage .17 hmr rifle. I also like to shoot, yet I am not happy with the dozen or so guns I have at any given moment. I am constantly buying and selling them to fulfill any little need I may have, or think I need for my collection. Now of course your area of residence will have some effect on your armament, as someone living on a ranch in Texas will, on average , have more firearms than someone living in an artist's lounge in Manhattan. But it is mainly a question of personal preference (and of course the amount of money you have to put into these things!
