Here is my SCI. I've had it for about a month now and have been shooting it every weekend. I still can't shoot it quite as well as Mel but my groups are definately shrinking and today I got real close to half MOA. I'm brand new to this precision stuff so I figure it will take a little time. So far I love it and it is by far my favorite gun.

Any suggestions for a name?

hope you named it better than I named mine. I was truly unoriginal and named mine "Charlene".

Look great! Might I say she looks like a Tatiana. Not sure why, just seams to fit.

…Looks at picture and sighs…. Let’s see, Mel got the deposit check last Friday so that means 5 months, 3 weeks and 4 days and 18 hours till mine gets here…. Not that I’m counting or anything.

Looks like a Tatiana too, thats for sure. Cannon, I bet you're gonna do a "happy dance" in the front lawn when she comes in, just like when I got my FAC.

Hey, nothin wrong with the Roxannes up here

Hi all:

The photo’s were taken off of Bloody Basin road, about 50 miles north of Phoenix. The scope is a Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10 X 40 with M3 turrets. I’ve got Badger rings and Badger 20 MOA base.

I just showed my groups from the weekend with a friend of mine saying they were almost to the .5 MOA and he said a couple were easily .5, I just needed to subtract out the bullet diameter from the outside edge measurement (is that correct?), so I’m pretty stoked hearing that meaning I broke .5 MOA on 2 of my 5 three shot groups. Now I just need to learn to do it all the time.

Thanks for the name ideas. 2 vote for Tatiana, I’ll have to put that in front of my people, I like the other suggestions too. If anyone has any other suggestions keep em coming.

Also I got the pictures hosted at photobucket, any way to make them bigger?

Yes, thats correct. If you measure outside to outside of the two holes furthest apart, then yes, you subtract the diameter of the bullet (in your case .3). You do this because you want to be measuring the group from "center to center" which is technically where the bullet struck.

Thats sounding nice!!

The pictures are nice, if you want to pick your favorite one, send it to me, I'll host it on the site, and probably show it in the SC1 section.

Martin,

What I did on my account with photobucket is I just set my Sony digital camera to a higher setting and when I loaded them into PB it displayed them much much larger. I can't say if they were true to their original size but they were a whole lot larger.

Play around with your camera, I'm sure its got a higher setting. Well most do now.

Great Rifle. May I suggest naming it yourself. Only because in reality its like your dog only you are the only one that will play with your rifle therefore, the name does not really have to suit your rifle but rather has to suit you.
