This reminds me a lot of the USMCs new BDUs. I'm glad the military is doing something about one of the most basic parts of the soldier.

Yeech, VELCRO. Cram a bit of mud in there, and you're one unhappy camper as things don't velcro back together again. Outside of that, the rest looks good.

Looks cool! The only questionable thing about it in my mind is the universal cammo pattern. It's supposed to be adaquate in all environments, but it seems to be proficient in none. :?

I have to agree with you on that one.....sure they will save money not having to purchase.....jungle...desert...urban BDU's. But is that really something you want to skimp on? :?

There is nothing wrong with velcro other than the noise it makes, mud does nothing to it.

I'm with you Flea and WestpointRanger,

Since when does one size fit all. Most things that are universal will prove faulty at one point or another. I like them but it sure looks like for some backrounds, the only thing that they will blend into is themselves when in formation.

I like that they are using velcro; cheaper, faster but a little noisy.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of just one camo pattern for all environments. Is that what the Army is planning on doing, just using that one type of pattern and colors for everywhere they go?
The color of the patterns seem to me like they wouldn't do good in the desert areas. But what do I know?
