If someone can lend a hand, I would like to post a pic of my R5 finally finished. And I have found that the factory loads mine likes best are Hornady TAP 168 @ .40 and Black Hills 168 in close second @ .50. I shot a four round group of TAP around .25 and the fifth round opened it up to .40. Black Hills and Hornady 175 almost mirror these results in my rifle (just a tad larger groups) I tried shooting Hirtenberger 190 Match, but the best I could get was 1.25. All groups were five rounds at 100 yards.APK-223 said:Thx guys.
I picked up some AE to sight her in then I will begin working on a nice load. She loved 168's before but I want to try 175's. Also, I have a box of 190's lying around, anyone ever tried something that heavy in a .308?
...that requires workJohn: That top picture cracks me up. One would think you could crop that pic a tad!
