Knob Creek Gun Range in Bullitt County is a nice little range.

Its $10 a day, and year memberships are $100.

The range isn't huge, I believe its 350 yards. Lots of guns to rent if you want to test a few different things out.

350 yards isn't much, but I haven't found a longer range yet. Anything past that I head out to private property (owned by friends of course).

Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City has a Range that nonmembers can use for about $30 a day. It has about 5 or so lanes. you can set up your targets at any distance you want. it has steel targets at 100yds out to about 750yds. They also have Thunder Valley which is Members Only and must be reserved in advance, it starts at around 600yds and runs out to about 1200yds with a 1600yd set up on a hill. When you reserve Thunder Valley it is yours either from 8 am to noon or from Noon to closing. You hardly EVER see a range officer at either of these ranges "Big Boy Rules". They also have outdoor pistol ranges, Trap shooting ranges and 3D archery ranges.
