Thanks for looking . These are the models I am thinking of:

The steel options I have found are:
1) Leupold Mark 4
2) TPS
3) Nightforce (a little over budget)

Aluminum options-
1) Seekins Precision
2) Nightforce STD

I am shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor. Unsure if I should go with Steel or Aluminum. My rings are Seekins Precision- Aluminum

TPS is one of the best budget options for bases.

I personally do not recommend straight aluminum, due to high coefficient of thermal expansion vs. steel (roughly 13 vs. 8). A good compromise and one that I have taken advantage of is the alloy option that Badger has, where you can enjoy the lighter weight, but expansion/shrinkage is less pronounced, which will allow greater percentage of repeatable long-range payday shots, despite the ambient condx. For the record, titanium is the most desireable with a coeff. of thermal expansion at 5-ish and ridiculous light weight to boot. But..... $$$$$$$.....
