too much time on my hands at work
my job requires me to wait for long periods of time to install stuff, do basic maintence on computers etc
there isnt much to be done right now so i set up installation and browse the web while im bored (i get bored easy) but i cant complain abuot getting paid a fiar ammount of money for this

now for example i had to wait 45 minutes (4 minutes 33 seconds left) till this image is completed uploading to the server and i can dump it onto other computers for one of our computer labs

it wont be quiet for long though i have a project that ill be doing at work soon

I do not think it is overkill that Jeff post's as often as he does. It's called being a contributing member of the board. He is a young guy that is obviously very passionate about the subject matter here. Things like this tend to discourage younger people and I feel this post was done in bad taste and would really like to see it removed. How many younger kids have you just turned away from posting possible questions on this board for fear they will be bashed like you just did to Jeff?


Jeff you keep up the good work and don't let people like this one discourage you in any way.

You think that is bad... you would be amazed if you knew how much time I spend on the household PC!

I have recently started a gap year, between 6th form college and university. In this gap year I am:

"Getting on as many driving courses as I can, to get myself to hazmat HGV level, and getting myself fit so I can try for the Infantry reserves while I go through university."

While really I am:

"Sitting on my arse infront of the computer for most of the day, and seeing mates down the pub for the rest."

Healthy eh? :roll:

While it is amazing that he has MORE POSTS THAN MEL HIMSELF. I do not believe it to be overkill until his posts cease to render knowledge, carry positive opinions or simply help others.

I believe that since he is a positive contributer of this site, this whole thread should be removed. Why are we postiong about the frequency of posting. What a waste, I'm through wasting my time.

Yeah I'm with MEL I didn't think this was anymore then a joke. I never thought of Jeff as a spammer cause he didn't reply to every post with "I agree" or "Cool" just to get his post count up. If he was I'm sure he would get warned or MEL would just lower his post count.

I saw the thread early this morning, and didn't know what to make of it (nasty or joke, nasty or joke hmmmmm).

I've always just thought Jeff was a fast talker, like Nek was when the forum first launched.

Mele: Sry I forgot to add this to my previous post, (actually im just trying to run up my numbers and catch up with Jeff!!!). <<<<< THAT WAS A JOKE. No serisouly though, I really appreciate you (and everyone else) for giving me a chance to reply to some of the previous posts. And for not assuming I'm just some punk kind out for blood or somethin.

Badshot: I myself am only 18 years of age and have just gotten into shooting in this past year. I already own 2 rifles!! This site has tought me more about guns, procedures, calibers, etc. than I could have learned from where I live. And I am very thankful for that. I think this site is great, for those in the sniping community and for those who are getting into target shooting. I seriously doubt my harmless post scared off any younger kids (like myself) for fear of being "bashed". I really appreciate Mele's open stance on the issue, and the fact that most people could see through my post and take the joke for what it was.

this was quite a funny post( i believed) i think this was kind if a need kind of thing to get a litte laughter on to the site that is needed . No, the sad thing is this is all i do all day is read posts all day (till i go back to scholl and hunting starts again), but i dont seem to post heh. Youll see more of me in the time to come.
