Below the photo in your photobucket account, there is an IMG box. Just paste the text in that box into the area of your message where you would like your picture. Previewing a post before submitting it can catch these problems early. I'm interested in seeing any budget rifle that can keep that kind of accuracy though, and will check back.

I am blown away. Excellent work on this "Poor Man's" rifle. I took a look on Ebay myself, and its stunning to see how many parts are available for a song. Kinda gets the old gears turning...

Here you have an excellent SYSTEM for under a grand, a goal thought impossible by most, and the rifle is -dare I say- unique, and personal to boot. Bravo, Bravo.

Looks good. The industrial strength of the .50 BO rings and that slick 20 MOA rail look rock solid. The research, know-how, and budget all came together on this rig. You have an excellent point and good for you for finding your own options to the problem of cost that plagues us all. Not to knock your exterior, but it would look even better with a nice metal finish such as teflon. Although with the look, the humbling you could render someone would be even more powerful.

I applaud that rifle. You have done an excellent job. I too must admit that it will make me be patient and look for those great deals on the web. The only thing though is I must agree with Dan that it would look great in some type of protective teflon or maybe a ceramic camouflage.
I have two custom rifles but I have always wanted to pride of building something myself and having it shoot well.
Great Job

Good looking rig and cheap(price not quality). I really would like to build my own and what you did with Ebay i would have never thought of. Nice work. Great to have you on the site.

To All

Again thanks for the comments,I just want to add a little advice about the
Badger rings, the rings come in 30mm and Badger makes a quality set of
1inch steel inserts, which I am using now. With the inserts you have a choice
of scopes with either 30mm or 1inch tubes. This way you only have to buy 1 set of rings.
