Think high rings too much, but can probably live with, if I get a tac-ops style cheekrest. Definitely more kick and muzzle jump with the 20in barrel compared to the 24in I had previously. Range report to follow once I get moved and reloading set back up.

Vigilance Rifles M14 50 BMG

DUDE, I had a chance to shoot the M14 50 that Vigilance Rifles makes and I honestly don't know if I'll ever shoot anything as badass as that ever in my life. Honestly, Im a big puss when it comes to kickback but it looked too good not to try and I can't believe how well it handled. I managed to feel very in control, and felt like Rambo.

You'll want to check out .co, not .com of their website. The .com is their old website, they just redesigned it and made it way easier to look through. Anyone else have a chance to shoot a Vigilance Rifle 50? Their M18 looks sick too.

.308 I built up on a matched upper/lower set and bcg from Fulton Armory, Criterion 24in barrel, RRA 2 stage match trigger, Primary Arms 4-14x44 ffp, and v2.0 of a muzzle brake I've been tinkering with.

They both are far more capable than me at this point.

Very nice setup. Wondering what is the purpose of the "strap" looking item attached to the scope and the top of the muzzle brake? Never seen that before, but the only thing I could think of is a "heat shield" maybe?

Just curious if anyone has a Cerakote base with non Cerakote paint airbrushed pattern over it? I am fixing to do this but not sure which types of paints will wear decently without just flaking off or coating my hands when I pick up and move.
