Im in NY, feel.my pain. Since all are watching for anti gun laws, the latest is slipping commerce laws thru that effect sales.
You can no longer put any gun on layaway here. How does that effect safety? And they wonder why owners wont give in to any changes.
I suspect when team Biden/Harris start youll need a tax stamp for a slingshot

I hate that NY gun laws are horrible. I wish it was different. I wish all politicians honored the 2nd amendment in its entirety...but they don’t.

There are many states that honor the second amendment much more thoroughly than NY. There are states that are gun friendly. I live in a state where even full auto fire does not attract law enforcement...unless they want to play too.

We all make choices and live with the consequences of those choices. You have chosen to live in a state that is not gun friendly. You could choose to live in a state that more completely honors the second amendment. Most people have a thousand reasons why they cannot make choices that would make their lives happier. If one of those thousand reasons are more important to you than living in a gun friendly state, then that is your choice which comes with consequences. Regardless of politicians horrible laws, your “pain” in this case is not necessary.

Shooting Nosler 55gr.Ballistic tips.
Guess I got one of the good ones, I shoot a golf. ball at 350 yds, going to move to 500 and see how it works. shooting crows and yotes is no match for the gun.

I am trying to sell this thing now. I spoke to a friend who attended the SHOT show and a Remington rep told him the rifle does not shoot, and they have stopped production. Any other comments or reviews would be appreciated before I unload, although probably futile, on Remington for producing this rifle. Nox Vidmate VLC

This is nothing more than a mass production problem. With any mass produced item you'll have some that are great, most are average and some that are bad. That's why customs are expensive, they have a lot of man hours in them to make sure that they are all great. It seems that most 700's are pretty good, some are great and this one is problematic. Sell it to me, I'll throw it on the lathe and put a new barrel on it and a decent stock and it'll be great.
I have a Great" one!
