Anyone have any experence wiht the Russian military binoculars that are being imported? Am looking at a 7X30 with the rangefinder. Is the rangefinder in them worth while? I notice there is no center focusing wheel, each eye is adjusted seperatly, what is the dept of focus? Any good place to buy one? Thanks.......

The russian optics I've used have been quite good actually, and very durable, but it depends entirely on where it comes from, what dealer etc.

·I agree. Some of their higher priced SVD sniper scopes have been of astonishingly good quality, so I assume their binocs are quite good also.
