I liked your review . I just got one . I took it out for the first time last week . I was shooting Hornady 285 g hpbt . Stacked all 3 At 100 yrds .625 MOA . And just under 1 MOA 500 yrds 2.875 inches . two were stacked . I Had a cheap 200 dollar scope 4x16x44 . I was total impressed . The gun worked perfect .

Great review as always! I like the depth you go to and give a very clear understanding of what the rifle can do and options on what it can be.

One question for you Mel, why is there no review on the Savage model 12? I think it would be a good comparison/competitor to the SPS-V. I just traded for one in 22-250 and it is proving to be a real good economy starter rifle that can be built on as one builds their budget back up. It does have the same problem as the SPS-T with the stock touching the barrel when rested but seems to be about a .75 MOA rifle (in my hands, probably better in yours) in stock configuration. Thanks!
