Would you rather this 12FVSS rifle reviewed instead of a model like the 10FP-LE1A ??

I dont really have plans to review ALL the savage rifles, but I do want to do one of the newer rifles, but what model?

I've pondered trying out a Savage.

I'm considering the 110FP. Probably with the standard stock in order to restock with a better stock or just jump on the Mcmillan version 110FP-LE2.

My vote goes to the 110FP-LE2. :D

I vote for the original Model 12FVSS
it has a 6 inch longer barrel
and i think would be more accurate
at long distances !!
I know I know its not the tactical version
but you could always ask them to put the cool looking stock on it
and call it tactical after that
Ive been wanting this rifle for a while now
and was gonna get one anyways for myself
I could bring it up there this spring and let you check it out
with no problem, gotta take a vacation :D, before i go nutts
to bad Savage doesnt have a custom shop
I would love to have this gun with the other stock real bad

Whoops... I meant the 10FP-LE2A, which is the 26" version. Now, the extra 6 inches doesn't get you accuracy, but it does give you faster FPS, which helps at long range.

Whooo.... I need warning and planning before people just show up! Wife, kids, job, business, lots to organize in order to spend time :D

Id at least give you an hours notice!! was just joking Mel
I went ahead and ordered the rifle-22-250 cal
I didnt like the price on the other one $1900+(D**n)
The only difference i saw was the stock, scope, and a case.
Ill probably get an after market stock anyways like the one on the 300UM
and another VX-III to top it off.

Update

Savage is opening a custom shop on the 15th of feb.
Yes!!! maybe I can finally get the gun ordered that I really want.
Now if I could get Mel to certify it an sc series with all my custom length barrels and stocks Id like to use...hmm
that would be real cool. :D
