Okay folks, I recontacted the USA importer for lapua ammo and all of my application stuff got lost in the mail, they never received it! So this time we did it all via fax, and we are golden now.

So, I'd really like to put together a large first order so we can all benefit with the savings of being a master dealer. Problem is, we need $5000 initial order. There seemed to be a good amount of interest for larger ammo purchases before, so hopefully there still is. IF we get master status, this is what the SC pricing would be for a few common loads. If you want to know pricing on a specific load not listed here, ASK!!! I have the price list. All prices are per box of 20. The prices inside the (parentheses) are the prices if I cannot get master dealer status.

.223 55gr FMJ $16.10 ($18.40)
.223 70gr HPBT A+ $19.78 ($22.77)

6.5x55 Swedish 123gr scenar $20.47 ($23.46)
6.5x55 Swedish 139gr scenar $20.70 ($23.69)

308 167gr scenar $20.02 ($24.15)
308 167gr Scenar A+ $21.62 ($24.84)
308 185gr scenar $21.39 ($24.61)
308 185gr FJMBT $20.93 ($24.15)
308 200gr FMJBT Subsonic $24.38 ($27.83)

.338 Lapua 250gr Scenar $60.72 ($69.92)

Those are some nice prices!!!!

I am good for at least 100$ worth of ammo for the first order. If we got 50 people to buy 100$ worth we would be set. I am sure we all have friends that shoot, I will ask some of mine if they want to buy anything.

Mel: All we have to do is have 5000$ worth of purchases on the first order to get the master prices. But what about future orders do we have to constantly have orders of 5000$ to get those prices? Or can we do smaller orders.

Hey, Mel, I was wondering if you could elaborate on the scenar bullet. What is it? BTHP or BTSP? Target bullet or hunting? If it is hunting I would seriously consider buying some.

I have a couple of questions.

I need a price on the .308 155 scenar match ammo.

What is the difference in the .308 167 regular and the 167 Scenar A+ (other than the price).

Do you know the stated velocities for the 6.5x55 123s and the 139s.

If memory serves the match ammo uses the Lapua match brass.

JeffVN

you can count on me for an order of at least $250-300.00.

Lapua Subsonic

Mel,

I do not think I am going to be interested in the Lapua SubSonic yet. The 200 gr. ammunition they sell is made for 10:1 twist, I am still on a 12:1.

I also finalized the load data for the subsonic ammunition I have been working on. I am going to post some pictures and text on the thread I had on "Subsonics and Reduced loads"

Thanks for checking on the price anyway.

First, the scenar bullet is a HPBT Match bullet. VERY much like the Sierra Match King.

I did not list any of their hunting ammo, but I have pricing on all of that also if you are interested.

You betcha.
308 155gr Scenar $20.47 (with master level pricing)

The A+ ammo is suppose to be their best of the best. Their ultra match grade ammo. (as opposed to their typical match).

Of course.
123gr - 2854 fps
139gr - 2624 fps

Notice that these are full power loads NOT to be used in your older surplus swedish mausers. Only modern firearms, but also notice these are very good loads!

If memory serves the match ammo uses the Lapua match brass.
Actually, Lapua only makes one standard of brass... Match, and it is excellent.

Okay, talked with the distributor again.

After the initial $5000 order, we need to order $3000+ per order to continue to get master pricing. $3000 occasionally might be doable....

Lapua ammo is superior to Federal GMM.

Could ya check on the prices of the .30-06 match ammo? I'm looking at 180gr stuff, or whatever you think would be best for long range shooting out of a 10:1 barrel. I'd be interested in just afew boxes, gotta see which ammo my new rifle likes best first.
Thanks,

Thanks Mel

I'm looking at the 6.5x55 ammo for my new wood stock custom that Jered is building for me - its being built from a used Remington 700 LA (out of a 30-06), so the "hot" ammo is exactly what I'm looking for. Buying in bulk on that ammo saves me from having to "develop" anything early on - plus gives me some good brass to use going forward.

JeffVN

Let me check the storage space in my safe and figure out what I'm going to want. Since the 6.5x55 is near what I'm looking for as far as velocity, I'll probably get at least 5 boxes of that, in addition to approximately 5 - 10 boxes each of the .308 in 155 and 167 scenar.

I dont know of any one making match grade 180gr match grade bullets in .3080 Caliber. Maybe im missing somthing?

Federal loads Match grade 30-06... but its only a 168gr. ( probably because they figure most match rifles in 30-06 are going to be national match M-1 Garands that were made for 150gr ammo... ( the oprod tends to bend when you use the heavy ammo ).

Well Nek, you certainly had some influence!

In terms of -06 ammo, no Lapua match is loaded for it

What's your opinion on the Lapua ammo now that you've tested it?
(I'm still trying to work through all new posts since I last logged in....)

my opinion has always been high. The biggest plus is all the GOOD 6.5x55 ammo. The match ammo is every bit as good and even better than Federal GMM
