To throw some more options at you:

There is a chance that we are going to switch to powder coating the metal work of the rifles, and teflon coat the bolts (for smooth operation, its looking like powder coat is a bit too binding for the bolts). If we go this route, we can do just about any color you can imagine in powder coat!

In terms of camo, sorry, for right now, just too much man hours work to do it for the price of the rifles. But there is nothing preventing someone from adding some camo to suit their environment!

thanks for the offer mlammers. But we have a barreled action that was powdercoated and just shipped back to us today. I think we have something that is going to work great. I especially like the bolts being teflon coated for smoothness. We have to run a few more tests to be sure all is going to function well, then we are going to switch over to all powder coating.

One thing that will become a trade mark. All of our bolts will be matte teflon black, no matter the color of the rest of the metal. It will be a nice contrast.

Well, honestly, I do not like gun kote. We did several of our first rifles in it (as well as my swede scout rifle) and i'm just not happy with it. Its more durable than the teflon, but it does not bound well around srew holes or other spots. If you do not have perfect metal prep, its not that great. Teflon is much better in terms of preping the metal, and it bounds with the metal better. But its not as hard or durable. I think this powder coat/teflon bolt mix is going to be ideal!! The finish on the bolt lugs and stuff will wear away, but thats to be expected with any coating, and the good thing about teflon is that it penetrates and keeps lubricating even when the visible color has worn away. I'm very excited about this.

I'm working with "Dead Roman" here on the forums, he is doing my powder coating. I'm sure we can arrange something for others to either go through me, or straight through Roman. I will be sending the barreled actions completely stripped and ready for blast and spay.

Yes, we will have color charts soon. But there are tons of colors available. Pretty much can do the same we were talking before: black, grey, green, brown....

mlammers, contact me on sunday, we'll see what we can do.
