I think you should get creative with it and choose a color that suits you best.
Black is a very common color but if thats what you like then by all means. I don't think you should base your decision on what "everybody else has". Not on the color of your metal parts. Especially if camo or going undetected for hunting or stalking is not an issue.....definately not color.
