Hey Mel, just a note to say your SC1 looks very impressive. I, like many others I'm sure, want to own one. But I think wisdom suggests I practice more with my custom Mauser in 30-06 w/ Sheperd glass. I am have this thing about not being a poser, ie. owing a precsion crafted high quality rifle before I deserve one. I am going to ramp up the practice and switch from Federal hunting ammo to Federal Match and keep in touch.

My club has a Varmint Silhouette shoot out to 600 yards. I need to be there.

Personally I think it is better to have a very accurate rifle when learning to shoot. If you don't hit something, then you know for sure it is not the rifles fault and you can adjust what you are doing accorindgly.
