I have an SC1 on the way with an HTG stock in woodland camo
in .308 24" barrel #7
with a williams steel floorplate & trigger guard, timney trigger
TPS rings and base and to top it off its got a Mark 4 PR 3-9x40mm scope on it.

I personally went with the remmy because its such a great action and if I want to add other goodies, many people are very familiar with that type of action and I could get the add on's done locally.

thats just my opinion but either way you cant go wrong

re

My vote goes for the SC3.

Everybody has a remington action.... kinda spoils the fun of it.

Whichever you go for - you know you want it in .303 really.

In a previous life I worked for an automotive mechanical handling company and saw first hand how jags were made (in the UK).... I wouldn't want to own one... :)

not to contribute to the off topic... mechanical problems asside, man, I've always liked the XK8 & XKR's, too bad they don't come with a manual transmission

I you are in the Chicago area at some point I would be more than happy to let you shoot my SC3A2. It is a fantastic rifle, the last group I shot with it was .38" and I am sure it can do better. It isn't in the caliber you are looking to get, but then again you might change your mind about the caliber if you had a chance to shoot this beauty!
