The obvious best choice (personal / proffesional prefference) would be US Optics for true long range shooting... 1,300 yards and beyond. The only problem is the price...

I have no doubt US optics are a better scope, but for my level of shooting skill, the fact no local long range ranges, and I don't get to shoot much any more, burris is the best bang for buck for me. I am a cheap skate.

I just bought my second US Optics 4-26x58 T-PAL (no that is not a typo 26X for an SN-3). Theya are new this year. Mine ahs the new PCMOA reticle.

The new US Optics goes on the Patriot, old US Optics goes on the Hammonds (until I sell it to Topo-Sniper :wink: ), Swarovski goes on the new Remington LA wooden stock 6.5x55.

If memory serves, this US Optics cost right at $2,750.00 +/- including the 35mm tube, 35 mm rings, Remington LA base, 4" shade tube w/ honeycomb filter, Anti/cant indicator lit reticle, PCMOA reticle, 2-day Fed-x delivery.

But that price includes removal of my 10% LE discount.
