I'll give it a try, but you'll probably never see my target unless it winds up on a forum titled "bloopers". How many do-overs do we get?

From what I understand you can practice as many times as you like, but can only turn in one target.

Topo-Sniper and I are going to meet up and give ours a run on Tuseday afternoon (weather permitting).

2 people from same rifle?

Mel,
I have a friend who expressed an interest in making an entry. One problem: He doesnt own his own rifle, and always borrows mine when we go to the range. My question is, can we both enter the contest with us using the same rifle for our entries? I dont want you to feel that I am being dishonest, so I would be willing to scrounge a notary so that they could certify that two separate people shot two separate targets. Alternatively, I can understand if you do not wish to allow this.

Thanks!

what about ties? we have some very good shooters with very good weapons who could put a shot on that red dot 100% of the time, especially at 100 yards

o and mel if u enter i believe you should be handicapped by ooo...atleast 400 yards, and i believe i will have quite a few supporters of this rule..

I think ties are going to be broken by measuring the area hit from the absolute center of the dot.

I know Mel probably can't compete, since its his postal shoot and all, he should still shoot one just to see :D If he was competing we could always make him do it with say 30 moa elevation and 30 moa windage on his scope and make him hold off lol...He'd still beat me.

I'm just happy I get to shoot with the guys on this site, and I won't feel too bad when I come in dead last lol

*ahem*....if anyone wants to start placing friendly wagers on the outcome of a shooter I'm working out the odds...Jokin!

Shoot the match with a scoped Kalashnikov and count the misses with the ledger
Yeah, but at that point I'd lose patience, take the governer/restrict mechanism off the selector, walk up to the target with a full magazine... there wouldn't be much missing after that.

Actually I've started dealing Blackjack and some poker (I'm not dealing the poker) at my school. So apparently I've got a use for this leger yet. Now, all I need to do is actually buy one in the first place. :p

Yes, two people can enter using the same rifle, its the honor system, so just be honest, oh, and the prizes are not THAT good!! :D

In terms of ties, yes, the tie braker is whomever has the smallest AVERAGE of the 5 shots from the absolute center.

For the fun of it, I might fire one off just for fun. But I am officially NOT in the competition...
