CNN had a great video of a USMC SS in action. Don't have the link, however they move things around daily as current news takes precedence.
Interesting pistol-grip stock on the m25. Anybody have any guesses what stock that is?
I may be wrong but I believe this is the McMmillan A2A Tactical stock
Thats what it looks like, pretty sweet setup, Ive heard that alot of the Squad based snipers are using M25's type systems, very cool though
Yes, the amazing thing has been how resourceful the commanders have been. I have heard and talked to a few officers that have taken all of their marksmanship teams M14 (national match) and had them converted by gun smiths to tactical rifles BEFORE they went over there. Smart thinking, and based on reports from units returning.

Ya, I've seen lots of picks of McMillan stocks on M14/M1A/M25 DMRs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Very cool pick.

Anybody know where I can find lots of good pics like this?
Check out these babies!!!!!! Sure would want one of these. Didn't now that the army was issuing the McMillan A2A stock on their M25.

That photo was on the front page of our local news paper this morning!

It's not really the Army that's issuing them, it's probably unit comanders.
What I want to know is what are in the small black cases on the far side of the room in the above photo!!!
Try not to think about it, it will just bug you!

That is exactly correct. These firearms were procured by the unit commander before travel to Iraq. Its what I was talking about above, the commanders are being resourceful, and its nice to see

nice looking weapons
i coulda sworn that stock looked SOOO ugly when i saw it on the McMillian fiberglass page but other people told me how nice it looked when it was put on an M-14
i have to agree with that now that ive finally seen one
 makes me wonder why they cant issue the same to my country's army
The small black box's with the numbers on the side have each rifles history and maintenance records in them. The numbers on the side are the last 4 digits of each rifles serial number.
