What advice do you guys give people that need to make shots in the morning or evening when the sun is low and glaring in their eyes and scope? I had to let a couple of good bucks walk because of this issue being so bad down some long lanes of mine.

You could try a honeycomb ring and also possibly a screw-on hood if you're angle requires it. The honeycomb does a great job on its own though.

If your angle is really bad you could try a polarizing filter in addition to the other options (dialing it to block the sun), but most people are going to suggest changing position, which is the best option for those who can do so; I'm going to assume that's not an option for you since you're asking the question.

Honeycomb filters are short, light, and also reduce the reflections off the lens, so that might work well for your situation.
