Tract scopes are amazing for their price!! My shooting buddy has one and says the glass compares to a Swarovski. I believe it because it’s really easy to spot .30 cal impacts on white painted steel at 2000+ yards!! We do it very regularly!

IMO the best spotting scope for a range was an older Leopold that had a mil hashmark reticle in it. It was great for a spotter milling corrections. I looked for something similar a while back and I gave up but if someone made a tree that wasn't too dark to obscure the splash or vapor trail, they'd really have something I'd like to own. Tree reticles like Horus can get thick or busy and obscure observing misses. I think Vortex has the right balance as far a dark enough to see but light enough not to obscure. That's my .02. on the matter.
