The PII has a heavy barrel with no aux sights and also the large bolt knob. Scroll to the bottom of this article:

Steyr SSG-69 PI - Sniper Central

And you will see a picture of the PI and PII

Looking at an SSG 69 P1 made in 1981. One magazine .Double trigger. green stock . Barrel with sights. Steyr mounts and Kahles ZF69 6x42 scope with original covers . Condition of the package is 98-99%. What would a fair price range to pay for the package? Thank You.

Its hard to say for sure, but with the Kahles scope that makes a nice original package. The double set triggers hurt it a little bit as that was typically not the configuration used by snipers. I would say in the $2000 USD neighborhood, maybe a bit more

Not sure if it's still helpful, since you asked more than a month ago, but anyway:

List price for an SSG 69 PII was EUR 2,182 (~US$ 2,410) in 2012 in Austria where those rifles were manufactured. The sights that are standard on the PI could be ordered as an upgrade for the PII for EUR 176 (~US$ 195). The PI was a bit cheaper than the PII, but I do not have exact list prices for that model. I also do not have the exact list price for the Kahles scope on the SSG 69, but the entry price of their product ranges is around EUR 1,000 (~US$ 1,100).
The SSG 69 is no longer in production (went out of production in 2015).
Hope that helps.
