i recently bought a Remington 700 VS .223. i use this rifle as a target rifle and love almost everything about the rifle but the one thing it lacks that i want is a cheek piece. i dont really want to buy a new stock and i saw a cheek piece that just snaps into place in my bushmaster catalog how ever these are only for AR's, i was wondering if anybody knows of a company that makes a universal one. i looked around on the internet but wasnt able to find anything, any help would be greatly apreiciated.

There is a canadian guy that makes a custom one for the Remington PSS stocks that may be useful for you - Rooster33. He also makes them for the Highpower rifles both M1A and M14. He was Very responsive to my direct inquiries about making one for the PSS stock.

I hope I got this link in correctly.

I use an eagle cheek piece pad the staps onto my Bravo-51 and was recommended by tac-ops. At first I didn't think I would like it, but because its high quality and straps on very securly (just about no perceptable movement) and provides a nice comfortable cheek weld, it has won me over.

Though, it is not adjustable, and only provides a slight increase in cheekweld height (perhaps 1/2 inch).

I ran into the same problem. You might try using some tape of foam under the cheekpeice if you need some rise. I think mine was a blackhawk one but it was still secure enough for me to make that adjustment.
thanks for the help guys i apreciate it
You ever get that cheek rest squared away?
