Anyone have any experience with Swift optics? Ran into them while checking out some Nikon's yesterday (and looking for a used Rem 700 action).

They looked decent, suppose to be good tubes, optics were almost as good as nikon buckmaster. Their web page doesn't say much, nor does their catalog.

nope, never heard of em mel. Want me to do my bloodhound thing and find ya one? Then you can heat it up with a blowtorch and throw it in the freezer and then send it back marked "It was like this when I got it".

I had a Swift 8x32 on a 700P a while back. I was impressed. Optics were good and adjustments were precise and repeatable. Price was excellent. It had a lifetime warranty on it too. I bought it just to try it out because my local gun dealer is a BIG advocate of Swift. They already have an excellent reputation in the scientific instrument field (microscopes, etc.). The only reason I don't still have mine is because I traded it off with the rifle. I would definitely consider it if you are looking for a better-than-average quality scope at budget prices.
