hey im lookink for a target rifle for less than 1000 with the scope. I've been lookin at a remington 700, what do yall think?

Remington 700VS = 600 bucks
Mueller 4-16x50AO Mil-dot = 229 dollars
Leupold Rings, Bases = 100
Harris Bipod= 75-120

depends on what type of target shooting, what ranges, etc. The 700's are nice basic units to start with

Saw couple ads in SGN for Rem PSS around $679, not a bad price I thought, and with all the gear spade listed(really like the Mueller Glass Too), would be around 1K.
