This is probably pretty basic for everyone else here, but I'm a fairly recent bolt shooter. Anyway, I took my 700VS out yesterday and used up the last of my cheap ammo for it. As I was cleaning it, a very basic thing occured to me: cleaning the chamber. I'm used to shooting AR's and I know those need cleaning and why, but how important is it to clean the chamber on a bolt? Does the case expand enough to keep it clean? I usually clean it, but I've skipped it a couple times. Long story short, I probably won't know if it's affecting my accuracy because I'm not exactly a sharpshooter, but I can got some 1/2 in groups with the rifle and match ammo. Thanks.
