Does anyone know what scope the finnish army uses for their TRG-22/42
rifles ?

Moonscopes

I don't know about those large European moonscopes. It is almost as if the Finns are mounting Mount Palomar to their rifles!!

I couldn't find any low mounted rings for my Sako. It seems that the Finns don't make any low mounted rings. And the moon scope rings mount the scope far too high for my tastes.

You may laugh, but I mounted a Leupold compact scope on Millet mounts. And this combination puts the scope way down low. ( about as low as J. D. Sumner's voice.)

Agreed!
30mm tube, 40-42mm objective, superior coatings and glass, mounted low... makes the best combo for tactical shooting, in my humble opinion of course.

Funny it doesn't have a side focus/parallax adjustment, fellas. :?
