The same guy also has a used Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40 M3 LR/T Illum. Mil-dot scope for sale. Just like the other it is in A++ condition. What is the going price??

He also has the same scope BUT without the Illum rec. What would be the price on it?

Its hard to say. New retail on the scopes are:

Illum : $1040 (I sell them for $930)
Non-Illum : $890 (I sell them for $804)

So, based on condition, and what you can get them for, you can make a decision on whether its a good deal or not

OK.........lets talk a little about the non ill. scope ($804)

I have never had the chance to use an M3, so please forgive what may be some dumb questions.

The cams are set for 55gn 223 and 168gn 308 and 190gn 300WM. (right?) What barrel length is this for? Are the cams adjustable?

I am gone to google to find more info :D

Those are three different cams that come with the scope. You swap them out for what ever caliber you are using. They are NOT adjustable, though you can have leupold mark some custom cams for you. The cams are set to a bullet at a velocity in standard conditions. So, the .308 is setup for the 168gr match king at 2600 fps. If your barrel is 28" and shoots this load at 2680 fps, then it will be a little off. But if your barrel is 28" and shoots this load at 2600 fps, then it'll be right on.
