So I just picked up a vz 24 from a local gunshop. The owner said it was chambered for .308. it has a bull barrel, and it chambers, extracts etc 308s with no issues. I tried looking around to see if I could find who made the barrel etc, but found little to no information. I have a picture of it attached. How would I go about to confirm its a 308 chambering before shooting. Like I said it seems to chamber a 308 with no issues, and extract it as well. the lockup is good and tight and there is no excessive force needed to close the bolt. The only other item I could find on the gun is a serial number of some sort stamped "GR 406" on the barrel under the front scope mount. Thank you guys for your help
