I just got a Kel-Tec 18” RFB. It has a 1:11.25 twist. I will be reloading most of my ammo and I’m told the Vargat is a good powder for that caliber. I have Hornady 208gr .308 bullets for my .300WM which has a 1:09.3 twist. Can I use those? Or I need lighter ones for the Ke-Tec? I’m not sure how barrel twists are charged for weights.

If that barrel was longer the 208s might work well but at 18" I would use a 168-178grn weight. I would save the 208s for the 300WM. If it's just for blasting then buy some bulk 150-168 and have fun.

x2 on what he said. 18" barrel is by no means a slouch but most precision rifle shooters that I see are sporting 24"+ barrel lengths.
