I need (or maybe just want) to get an 800+ yard laser rangefinder. However, I want to put my money where it will do the most good and the only one I've ever used is the Leica 1200 w/scan. I liked it, but it costs twice as much as some other rangefinders. Any input would be appreciated.

From what I have read the Leica's are the best. Always go back to what my Dad said..."You get what you pay for"
